Annual Blessing of the Animals
You and your critter companions are invited to join us on the La Selva Beach library lawn, Sunday, October 9, 2011. In honor of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, church will be held outdoors for a truly inclusive service! Whether your pets are four-legged, no legged, or feathered, they are invited to participate and receive a special blessing just for them!

Annual Ice Cream Social!
Whether it’s a cold foggy night or warm summer eve, everyone loves the Ice Cream Social! We’ll have music by the “Farmer’s Market String Band”. Bring your family and friends - the whole community is welcome! (Dairy and non dairy ice cream will be served.)

Blessing of the Animals Sunday, October 9th, 10:00 am Celebrating All Creatures Great & Small on the Library Lawn. Rev Deborah Streeter, our Pastor of Blue Theology will lead this service dedicated to all of the no-footed, two, four and many-footed creatures; all those with fur, hair, feathers and scales that enrich our lives. Ice Cream Social
Join us for this long-standing La Selva Beach tradition! Everyone is welcome. We'll gather at 7 pm at the Library Lawn to listen to live music by Harmony Blue comprised of local musicians. Enjoy a bowl of ice cream and add your favorite toppings. To protect the beautiful, new library lawn, please bring a blanket to sit on or use one of the provided chairs. Masks are encouraged.
