Don Baldwin who does a first-person dramatization of the legendary environmentalist. \nBaldwin\, retired after 35 years of active ministry\, delights in bringing a fresh awareness of the amazing scope of Muir’s life: geologist\, botanist\, mountain climber\, writer\, adventurer and preservationist. Baldwin notes with admiration\, “No single person in American history has been more instrumental than Muir in saving wilderness lands and protecting them for national park or monument designations. For me\, there is an excitement in every performance as I endeavor to embody the essence of this truly incredible man!” \nDon offers a broad overview of Muir’s life\, conveying his deep passion for nature and includes unforgettable stories illustrating the scope of his environmental accomplishment. Don’s lively performance is very family friendly so bring children\, too! All are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, Nov 12\, for fun\, fellowship and meaningful conversation as we pause to express gratitude for our blessings and explore ways to multiply them by reaching out to others. This year\, we will hear from our outreach partner\, Willy Elliott-McCrea\, Chief Executive Officer of Second Harvest Food Bank. Willy will share how Second Harvest is proactively addressing the issue of hunger in our community by working with donors to provide quality food and nutrition education to those in need. \nTo RSVP\, email or sign-up at church. You are invited to bring a salad\, appetizer\, or dessert to supplement the main course.
